Suffering with your mental health?
A parent or carer of a child age 0 – 2 Years?
Pregnant and concerned about your metal well-being?
Feeling lonely and anxious?
Small Steps is a Bolton Together project to help reach adults who are perinatal and have children up to the age of 2.
These new groups are where carers can discuss their mental wellbeing in a safe and secure setting. A setting where personal experiences and lived challenges can be shared without judgement.
This peer to peer support group will explore the challenges that looking after a baby can cause in our mental health, parenthood can be a very anxious and lonely place, but it doesn’t have to be. The group aims to help build friendships, feel engaged with adults and to help with better care of your mental health and your baby.
This group is predominately for adults, but we are aware what looking after a baby means… no time alone. Therefore children are welcome.
If you want to be part of this developing group, please contact Jayne.oakley@mhist.co.uk or call MhIST on 01204 527200
