Community Self-Help Group Facilitator / Director / Trustee

I joined MhIST in 2009 as a member of the Depression Self-Help Group. From then to now I have been a volunteer on the Advocacy and Office Teams; carried out a Quality Audit for the Advocacy Team; and am a Director/Trustee of MhIST.

I am now on the Self-help team. My role involves facilitating a group that introduces digital technology, like Android devices and the internet, to beginners. I also handle referrals to the groups and stand-in for other facilitator’s absences.

My personal interest is in Positive Psychology and Personal Development. Particularly how to use Psychology to remain happy in uncertain times and become the best person I can become.
