MhISTs objectives are to deliver services to:
- Support the relief of those persons who have suffered or who are suffering from mental health problems and other conditions by the provision of an advocacy and other relevant services as determined by the executive committee for these persons, their families and carers;
- Enhance the protection and preservation of the good health of the carers and families by the provision of such services and by liaising with other statutory voluntary and relevant health agencies.
Each year our trustees/directors review our priorities and activities to ensure they continue to reflect our aims. In carrying out this review, the trustees/directors have considered the Charity Commission’s general guidance on public benefit.
