Our support groups can provide you with the tools you need to get the help you need. Find out more about our groups below. Each group has its own information page which is ran by the group to give you a great insight into what they offer.
Featured Groups
Do you feel alone and have no one to talk to? Anxiety or depression taking over your days? Want to improve your mental health and wellbeing? The group members arrange trips out to places such as museums, cafés, to the theatre etc. External speakers also regularly attend to share their own experiences and knowledge.
Starting 16th November 2023 Bounce back is a six-week course in how positive psychology can give a boost to your family’s mental wellbeing. It is an introductory guide to some of the latest evidence-based techniques from positive psychology that have proven benefits on mental wellbeing within the family.

What are your opening times?
MhIST is normally open from 9:30am to 4:30pm. Some talk therapy sessions can be provided until 6pm.

How much does it cost to access MhIST’s services?
All of MhIST’s services are offered free at the point of contact. This means members do not have to pay a thing. Funding for the activities is obtained elsewhere.
